Attracting Businesses and Talents to Hong Kong

Objective

Hong Kong is one of the most competitive economies in the world. It also serves as an important gateway connecting the Mainland China with global markets.

The Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises, led by the Financial Secretary, has been established for attracting strategic enterprises from around the globe by offering them special facilitation measures and one-stop services. The Talents Service Unit, led by the Chief Secretary for Administration, has also been formed to formulate strategies to recruit talents and co-ordinate relevant work, as well as providing one-stop support for incoming talents.

The various talent admission schemes have been open for application. Potential applicants may submit applications online directly through the e-Visa platform of the Immigration Department; or via Hong Kong Talent Engage, the one-stop platform for talent engagement, admission facilitation and support services, after checking their eligibility with the online matching tool.

A Dedicated Team for Attracting Businesses and Talents has been set up in HKETO to proactively reach out to target enterprises and talents, liaise with world’s top 100 universities and promote related schemes. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us to find out more about the exciting opportunities in the city!
